VEFP 2013 Conference

On Tuesday, February 26, DES partnered with Dr. Philip A. Reed, Chair, Department of STEM Education and Professional Studies, Darden College of Education, Old Dominion University on a Breakout Session Presentation at the 2013 Annual Conference of the Virgina Chapter of the Council of Educational Facility Planners, International (CEFPI).

The presentation, “Designing a Facility to Support STEM Educators: Innovation, Collaboration and Project Based Learning as a Basis of Design for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Facilities,” put together as a joint effort between Dr. Reed and DES, was designed to illustrate the instructional perspective on the changing landscape of STEM curriculum and its Facility Design needs.
